Description

TODAY a quick moving upper-level trough and dry cold front will move through, dropping temps to more seasonal readings in the upper 70’s and overnight lows into the middle 40’s. The cooler temps will be short lived, because over the weekend and through the first half of next week, ridging will warm daytime temps back into the upper 80’s and low 90's and keep conditions dry with elevated fire danger conditions west of Highway 83. Later Tuesday and early Wednesday an advancing trough from the northwest US will begin tracking over the Rockies and could cut-off from the main Jet Steam and begin a slow track through the Central Plains pulling Gulf moisture and rain into region.
