Consumerism | We've Got Issues

Preacher: Jonathan Smith Reader: Judy Carr Pastor Jonathan is preaching from Mark 10:17-27. He explains that one of the issues, if not the greatest, that the church is facing today is consumerisn. Consumerism is subtle - everybody is involved in consumerism, but it is counter-cultural to anyone following the Christian faith. It makes us wanting and desiring the next 'new' thing, causes us to covet what other people have, but ultimately, causes us to remove our focus from God and what he has done through Jesus.
