Connection Thru Chaos with Sarah Leta

And so really, in this time of almost chaos, being nice to each other and kind of stepping into someone else's shoes during this will be huge.”</span></em></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Today on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am sharing another interview from the Connection Thru Chaos Series, this time with Sarah Leta. Sarah works both in-person with her clients and online to create the wedding of their dreams. She also does some work for fundraisers, so she has seen both sides of the way the pandemic is affecting businesses.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One thing that has been HUGE in Sarah’s business is working with her clients to reschedule their events and working with vendors in hopes of being able to salvage some, if not all, of her clients’ deposits. If you’re one of those people that did have an event scheduled and had to cancel, or may have to cancel, Sarah suggests reaching out now to reschedule and to just be flexible. This is unforeseeable circumstances for all parties involved and everyone is doing their best to survive and go about life and business as normally as possible.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One reminder to take with you is that this is a time and opportunity to choose kindness.  Yes, it is stressful for you and whatever plans you had made for the year, but it is also stressful for the businesses you may be working with, who are likely trying to keep their heads above water. Put yourself in their shoes and find some help to reschedule things, like by hiring a planner or asking a friend or family for assistance. I know it feels like the end of the world right now, and those emotions are valid and you SHOULD feel them.
