Congratulations on your Selection! (An Introduction to Ambassador U.) - Sermon - January 8, 2023

<p>Ever received a letter saying that you've been selected for a special honor or training? Maybe an advanced training at a law enforcement academy or even a Rhodes Scholarship? It's a theme of children's literature. Just think of Stuart Gibbs' <em>Spy School</em> series or of course those famous books about a boy wizard and his two, "through thick and thin" friends. Well, if you're a Hillsider, <em>you've </em>been selected for special training at "Ambassador University," King Jesus' prestigious school for diplomats. To confirm your selection, just show up for the worship service this Sunday at 10:00 AM for the launch of our informational and inspirational "Ambassador U." message series from Acts 13-14. Just so you know, this series will be as helpful for spiritual investigators as it is for seasoned Jesus-followers, so invite your friends. Let's fill up the room, Hillside!
