<p><strong>SERMON OUTLINE (19/12/21)</strong></p> <p><strong>Confidence before Jesus P2: 1 John 2 28-29</strong></p> <p>1. <strong>The Introduction:</strong> Will we have confidence before Jesus at His coming?</p> <p>1.1 <strong>Big Idea:</strong> Here are two truths from 1 John ch2 vv28-29 to prepare us to have confidence before Jesus at His appearance (28-29)</p> <p>2. The first truth to prepare us is: to abide in Him (28)</p> <p>3. The second truth is: to practice righteousness (29)</p> <p>4. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> the exhortation: These two truths to prepare us to have confidence before Jesus at His appearance – will we be obedient to them (28-29)</p> <p><strong>Reflection:</strong> Will you have confidence before Jesus at His coming? Do you abide in Jesus? Do you practice righteousness?
