And the Book of Ecclesiastes is still read at the Feast of Tabernacles today. Proverbs focus on the pursuit of Wisdom. Then Ecclesiastes takes a dark turn and says that everything, including Wisdom, is for nothing. It is pure nihilism. In the end, the reader moves toward the understanding of God.</p> <p>"Labor" is contrasted in these two books as a major theme.
