However, it wasn't until Claudia hit an emotional rock bottom that she rediscovered her passion for art.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Art became her medicine, a source for healing, and a place for self-expression. Claudia states, "Creating art became a way to relieve my pain, release suppressed emotions, and be empowered."</p> <p><br /></p> <p>For this reason, she now facilitates art workshops and programs to help women struggling with emotional distress, self-expression, and bottling up their emotions.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>We are also joined by Jill Ortiz, who was a reluctant workshop participant.
