Description

An upper-level trough now moving off to eastern U.S. left behind Arctic air with early morning temps in single digits with wind chills 5 to 15 below zero. Later today the airmass will moderate some with southerly winds and temps will rebound into the lower 30’s with tonight’s lows in the teens. Friday clouds will be on the increase as a quick disturbance works out of the Rockies in the late afternoon and evening. High temps reach into the in the low 40’s and lows fall into the upper teens with chance for a bit of light rain or snow. Saturday and Sunday’s temps again reach into the 40’s and 50’s with northwest flow from high-pressure building to the west and trough over the Great Lakes. Monday ridge flattens and cold front in the evening and overnight pulls colder air south out of Canada and brings some light snow chances.
