Description

Today a low-pressure system moving out of the Central Rockies through the area will produce morning to mid-afternoon snow and rain showers. As the system moves through temps will be in the 35-40-degree range, thus precipitation should be mostly rain with higher potential for snow and rain and snow mix is to the west in Colorado. Rain moves east in the afternoon and skies clear overnight dropping lows into the mid-20’s. However, the cold will be short lived as high-pressure builds again to the west and temps rebound back into the 50’s Friday and into the 60’s Saturday and Sunday with upper-level ridging over the area. Monday the next storm system kicks out of the Rockies with good chances for additional rainfall.
