Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry

<p>Cleto Cordero is the lead singer of Country music outfit Flatland Cavalry. Cleto joins Country Music Made Me to talk about his musical journey that began as a kid in Midland, Texas and has taken him around the world. He talks about his musical beginnings as a teenager during Lent, the first song he wrote for a high school event and the beginnings of the band after high school playing with long time friend Jason Albers (the drummer for Flatland Cavalry). He reminisces about the places and events that helped lead him to where he is today and the importance of staying humble and never forgetting where you've come from. Finally, Cleto talks about the bands new album "Welcome to Countryland" and what it was like to co-write with a number of new writers for the album.</p>
