Cleanup Aisle 7! Have you ever just messed up something beyond all recognition? When I sit and think about it in my life, the longer I sit and think, the longer the list gets. Get my drift? Peter was one of the disciples that was an impetuous, outgoing, and off the cuff. Peter cut off a man’s ear, sank in the water when walking to Jesus, and when Jesus was talking about His upcoming death, Peter rebuked Him and Jesus called him Satan. But the biggest one was when he denied Jesus. I have done that more than I would like to admit. That is, deny Christ. And like Peter, things I have messed up have helped me be better. The good news is that God can clean a mess up. This message takes a look at mess ups and how God can help you with mess ups…..if you ever have them. It also shows that the failures we learn from help us grow.
