Clean and Unclean Meats

Ours' is strange behavior in this enlightened age. We can be puzzling to Jews who may not eat these things, but also non-practicing Jews who do eat them. It is an even greater puzzle to Christians who believe they have been freed from the Jewish traditions of the Old Testament. Leviticus is full of dos and don'ts. They say, "Aren't the Mosaic Laws done away with?" But did the Biblical dietary laws start with Sinai?
