Description
The Clare Pyrite Action Group claims the government is continuing to drag its heels on redress for affected homeowners. It follows a meeting held by Clare County Council in Shannon last night, which aimed to guide applicants through the process of applying for the enhanched defective blocks grant scheme. Over 1,025 homes in this county have been extensively damaged by the defective mineral and those impacted are entitled to receive up to €420,000 in remediation. Chair of the Pyrite Action Group, Dr Martina Cleary from Crusheen says that not a single household here has been helped.
