Claims HSE Capital Plan Underpins Govt Commitment To Enhancing County's Services

A Clare member of the Oireachtas Health Committee claims funding allocations in the HSE's 2023 Capital Plan underpins the Government's commitment to enhance services in the county. Under the plan, €250,000 will be distributed to the Ennis Elm Medical Centre on the Gort Road to provide office accommodation & clinical space for use by Primary Care providers. A new theatre block and four new recovery bays at Ennis General Hospital, meanwhile, is at the detailed design phase of development. Ennistymon Fine Gael Senator, Martin Conway says recent escalations in investment in Clare will play a vital support role in easing the overcrowding burden at University Hospital Limerick.
