Claims Ballyvaughan "Brought To A Standstill" By Tragic Road Death

It's claimed Ballyvaughan has been "brought to a standstill" following the death of a man in a road crash yesterday. The man in his 70's, who's understood to have been living locally, lost his life after the motorcycle he was travelling on collided with a car on the N67 between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna yesterday morning. Gardaí are appealing to anyone in the area between 10am and 10:45am to contact them and are particularly interested in speaking to anyone with dash cam footage. The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, has appeared in court this morning, charged in connection with the incident. Lisdoonvarna Councillor Joe Garrihy has been telling me that the victim was "really loved" in his community.
