<h2>A Condensed Liturgy for Christmas Day</h2><h3>Opening Scripture:</h3><p>Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. - <i>Luke 2:10-11</i><br /><br /> </p><h3>Confession: *</h3><p><i>Let us take a moment to confess our sins</i></p><p>Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. <i>Amen.</i></p><p><i>May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, through Jesus Christ our Lord, and strengthen us to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, all our days.
