<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brian Smith started the global footwear brand UGG with just $500.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At the age of 29, Brian quit his profession in accounting, and went to California to surf and start his entrepreneurial journey.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He noticed that there was no sheepskin footwear in California, but every Australian he knew owned a pair of sheepskin footwear.
