Changing Times Ag Wx; High Wind Warning w/Active Wx Across the Country for Christmas; Drought Intensifies Into 2022

<p>Today a HIGH WIND WARNING WEDNESDAY 9AM TO 9PM as a strong upper-level trough and low-pressure moves over the area turning southwest wind in the morning to the to the west and northwest in the afternoon and evening gusting 50-60 mph.   The current low-pressure track has area in the dry slot and precipitation in Nebraska. Highs top out in the upper 50’s then fall through the 40’s, 30’s and 20’s willows in the teens.  Thursday upper-level ridging and flow returns to the south with more seasonal temps, highs in the upper 60’s and low 50’s and lows in the lower 20’s.   Friday and Saturday a passing shortwave disturbance and dry cold front will keep daytime temps in the 40’s and nighttime readings in the teens.  Then Sunday high-pressure and ridging shoots highs back into the upper 50’s.           </p>
