Changing Times Ag Wx; Area Digs Out of 5” to 24” Snow Influencing 6-10-Day Outlook; Changes in Pacific Pattern in Spring/Summer

<p>Today the Tri-state region digs out of 5” to 24” of snow, as skies clear and temps will remain cold in the low 30’s with breezy SW winds.  Tonight, an approaching trough will increase clouds and maybe squeeze out a few flurries.  Tomorrow, a second trough will bring a reinforcing shot of cold air, more clouds and breezy north winds. Daytime temps will stay in the low 30’s with lows dropping to around 10-degrees.  A large upper-level ridge starts building out west and working toward the Rockies Friday and Saturday resulting in northwest flow and warmer temps. Snow on the ground will hold back the warm-up, but daytime high should reach into the 40’s.  Then Sunday and Monday high-pressure over the area will boost warm-up to around 50-degrees.   </p>
