Change: Inside Out - Pt 5

<p>Hello and a wonderful Wednesday morning to you in the name of Jesus.&nbsp;</p> <p>We have started the month of August. God is crowning the year for us with His goodness and our paths are dropping with fatness in the name of Jesus. I see a new you being born by the word of God in Jesus name. The word will work for you, it will bring signs and wonders in your life and it will cause you to be a miracle in Jesus name.</p> <p>Matt 13:22(NLT)says</p> <p>"The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced".&nbsp;</p> <p>Wow! There are so many things that the devil puts in our way to challenge the word of God from producing in our lives. He knows the moment the word of God is planted in our heart, it must produce. So what does he do? He begins to bring different obstacles. The first is the challenge of understanding. You hear the word, he tries to distract you maybe you are listening to our daily podcast now ,hearing a message, watching a movie or someone is calling you he tries to distract you, so that you don't understand. If he cannot stop you from doing that he makes sure the word &nbsp;of God doesn't take root, you don't take time to meditate on it so he brings challenges your way to test the word of God. The Bible says if he doesn't succeed in doing that, the next thing he does, he starts to bring worries of this life, the lure of riches to crowd out the effect of God's word. He will crowd your mind, besiege and bombard your mind so you cannot focus on the word of God. I call them legitimate concerns. You are worried about how to make your family better, how to pay your school fees, how to pay your house rent, how to pay your mortgage, how to buy that car and how to pay that bill. The Bible calls them " the worries of life and the lure of wealth. What the devil does is to make you believe that you have to grind yourself out, to work your brains out, push yourself to do
