Cathoirleach Of East Clare MD Hails New Strategic Plan As A Gamechanger For The Region

The Cathaoirleach of the East Clare Municipal District is confident the implementation of a new strategic plan will allow tourism and job creation to thrive in the region. The ‘Elected Members of Killaloe Municipal District – Strategy & Work Plan’ was unanimously backed by local representatives at March’s meeting of the MD. Among the fifteen key objectives identified under the plan are the development of greenway and blueway attractions, wastewater infrastructure, and the enhancement of the existing road network. Kilmurry based Fianna Fáil Councillor, Alan O’Callaghan says the plan will ensure the sustainability of local towns and villages well into the future.
