Lakera Adams is a serial entrepreneur in the childcare space. For years she has run Amos House Academy in Vine Grove, Kentucky. In 2020, she decided to open a new business in Radcliff called The Hangout Club. The Hangout Club is where children ten and up can go after school to play games and socialize. Her plans quickly changed in response to the global pandemic when schools all over the state shuttered due to executive actions by the governor. That didn't stop her.
