Can you be confident and humble at the same time?

<p>They seem to be a dichotomy. You can either be humble and modest about your accomplishments or you can be confident and proud. But I wondered if it was possible to be both confident and humble.</p> <p>I asked Helen Stimson and Patrick McGowan what they thought. Helen suggested the word "approachable" and we talked about being able to recognize when you don't know.</p> <p>I came away thinking humble and confident might be a spectrum and like most spectra, the sweet spot is somewhere in the middle.</p> <p>What do you think?
