Campaign to improve the lives of senate staffers

July 29, 2022 - In an effort to improve working conditions and compensation, more than six dozen senate staffers have banded together, forming New York Legislative Workers United, in the hope that the chamber's leadership will voluntarily recognize a union representing the employees of state senators. We hear from two upstate senate staffers leading the movement.
