burdened by traffic

<p>'burdened by traffic'</p> <p><br></p> <p>it’s not so much that i’m trying to</p> <p>dispel the memory of him than i am</p> <p>trying to impress the reality of us—</p> <p>a long potholed road we’ve travelled</p> <p>and the exits have changed toward</p> <p>our final destination but i hope</p> <p>you recognize the scenery beyond&nbsp;</p> <p>the window still is familiar and signals</p> <p><br></p> <p>this way home.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>© Copyright Joseph A.
