<p>Growing a powerful professional profile requires a combination of self-promotion and genuine engagement. If done consistently, it can be a trust accelerator in your career. </p><p> </p><p>It is actually really easy to stand out from your competitors without it costing you a lot of money, find the platforms where you are not going to be ‘diluted’ with the competition, use video and post consistently.</p><p> </p><p>First thing I like to do is monitor the activity and leads I am getting from each platform. I focus on the top two which for me are Linkedin and Youtube. For me these have been the most successful in building a referral network that brings me more leads then I can handle. </p><p>Next, I really dissect who my ideal client is that I am needing to market to. Linkedin it is buyers agents, industry colleagues who refer, settlement agents and finance brokers. On Youtube it is investors who are in the process of purchasing their first investment property. You can see that the content I provide on each of these will be different and targeted accordingly. </p><p> </p><p>- Educational content is what it is all about in 2023. People crave it and like to do loads of research. If you are the forefront of this, and provide education and are consistently ‘seen’ you will be the one they call first.</p><p> </p><p>- Content is something that you could find super easy, like myself, or really difficult. Fortunately there are some shortcuts that you can take and some great businesses that provide content for you. If you are a natural, or even if you are not, pay attention to the regular questions you get asked, or emailed every day. Write them down and create a post or record a video answering these questions. </p><p> </p><p>- Make sure your profile is up-to-date and ready to receive all those leads you are about to receive! Ensure it reflects your current professional experience and skills and that people can easily find a mobile number and email address for you. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>-
