Buffalo Diocese agrees to government oversight

Nov. 11, 2022 - In October, the state reached an agreement with the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo to resolve a two-year-old lawsuit stemming from the failure of local church leaders to adequately respond to accusations of child abuse.
