Brian Martin interview-"From Underground Railroad to Rebel Refuge"

<p>Tonight’s guest is author Brian “Chip” Martin. &nbsp;Brian is a native of London, Ontario in Canada and has been a lifelong fan of baseball and is a member of the Society of American Baseball Researchers and has written many articles devoted to Canadians who have played Major League baseball.</p> <p>Since 2013 Chip has released four books dealing with baseball but tonight, we will be discussing his latest book released last October “From Underground Railroad to Rebel Refuge: Canada and the Civil War” a compelling examination of Canada’s role in the Civil War as a haven for escaped slaves, Confederate spies, Klansmen, and post-bellum rebel generals and slave owners.</p>
