Clayton Ruby who passed away last week, was a giant in the legal profession effectively changing Canadian law on Abortion, Gay Rights and by standing up for the disadvantaged including those wrongfully imprisoned. This is a personal view of Clayton Ruby but we also discuss many of the legal precedents that Ruby established and why and how they are different than in the US.
