Fathers have a tough job. The only thing harder is being a mother, especially today when mothers more and more are having to fulfill both roles. Fathers being in and with a family have been declining for years. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 19.5 million children, more than 1 in 4, live without a father in the home. Source: U.S. Census Bureau. (2018). The Bible has some examples of fatherhood and we can use these examples whether we are a father or a mother that is being left to be both mother and father. We can also use these examples in everyday life. It is a story about a couple of boys and their father. It illustrates how we should act as either the head of the house (father or mother). These truths even work on how we can handle our children if they have left home. They are still our children and our kids, no matter what their age. And these truths work for everyone on how to deal with relationships. And boys will be boys.
