<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">It Takes a Valley to Have a Mountain.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Another title I could have used for today’s episode is, “Mountain, Valley, Mountain”.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">It’s safe to say that we all want to be on the mountain-top, which represents success in our lives, whether it’s reaching a certain level of wealth, or perfect health, or a beautiful relationship, etc.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">But understand that you can’t get to the mountain-top <em>from</em> a mountain-top. You have to start in the valley and work your way up to the top.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">When things are working in certain areas of our life, we often think we can just leap to the next mountain-top, however, in terms of real growth and development, it doesn’t work that way.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">For instance, imagine a mountain range with progressively increasing mountains… How do you get to the next mountain-top?</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">You have to actually go down into the valley again.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The valley represents the trials and tribulations, the testing grounds, and the way you develop new capacities and strengths.
