Bishop Fintan Monaghan Discusses Possible Proposals For The Future Of Killaloe Diocese

On Wednesday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Bishop Fintan Monaghan who is the Bishop of the Killaloe Diocese. Fintan described the current ongoing crisis within the Killaloe Diocese with the number of clergy dramatically falling along with the number of people attending churches regularly. He highlighted the importance of coming up with new ideas for the diocese in order to overcome the ongoing issues at present and mentioned that meetings are currently taking place. Fintan also suggested the various structural changes that may have to come into place and complimented the 20 new female ministers in the diocese.
