Biden Will Raise Taxes on the Middle Class

BIDEN WILL RAISE TAXES ON THE MIDDLE CLASS<br /><br />Since the 2020 campaign, Joe Biden has repeatedly promised Americans that he would never raise taxes on the middle class. <br />On the campaign trail, he told voters:<br /><br />"I promise you, you have my word, if you make less than $400,000 a year, you won’t pay a penny more in taxes."<br /><br />It turns out, that's a big, fat lie. <br />According to the non-partisan Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, Biden's "Build Back Better" plan would hike taxes on the millions of Americans making $40,000 and above. <br /><br />Here's who would be affected:<br /><br />4.7% Americans earning $40,000 and $50,000<br />8.8% Americans earning $50,000 and $75,000<br />17.9% Americans earning $75,000 and $100,000<br />34.8% Americans earning $100,000 and $200,000<br />59.1% Americans earning $200,000 to $500,000<br /><br />Under the Build Back Better Bill, more than 2/3 of taxpayers would either receive no benefit or a tax increase. <br /><br />By 2027, 85% of Americans will fall into this category. <br />So it's a progressive tax plan that gets progressively more progressive as it ages.
