We do not need to trust in the arm of flesh. People can betray our loyalty in pursuit of their own self-interests. God has asked us to trust Him. He wants us to become like Him, a person who is loving, kind, unselfish and patient. These attributes are charitable and beneficial to others. God can help us change bad habits in our lives. He can help us overcome these habits in favor of compassionate and understanding behaviors. We can feel that we belong in God’s home. We can feel accepted by the Lord. We can feel He cares for us.
