<p>Today after the closing bell Amazon reported the best earnings in the companies history. The growth was due to the massive success of its AWS cloud division as well as retail sales. During the earnings it was revealed that founder and CEO Jeff Bezos will be stepping down as CEO and replaced with Andy Jassy. Andy is the current CEO of the AWS division of the company and will now be the CEO as Bezos uses this time to focus on other ventures like Blue Orgins. This is a HUGE move for the company and very reminiscent of the time in 2000 when Bill Gates stepped down as CEO of Microsoft.
