Beware of Janky Strikes

Half-Point wide strikes, or “janky strikes”, as we like to call them, can introduce problems and challenges when it comes to <a href="https://ontt.tv/6GQyK">managing and adjusting a strategy over time</a>. This is because these strikes won’t be as readily available in the later expiration cycles. As a result, you will be forced to roll your strike up or down to keep the position alive. Doing this will alter the proximity of the strike price relative to the stock price, while also possibly <a href="https://ontt.tv/2UAmJWb">impacting the intrinsic value of the position</a>.
