Benoit Clairoux interview-50th anniversary of the Quebec Nordiques debut in the WHA

<p>Tonight’s guest is Benoit Clairoux. Benoit lives in Verdun in Quebec and is a member of the Society of International Hockey Researchers. He is maintains the website histoirenordiques.ca devoted to the history of the Quebec Nordiques.</p> <p>The Quebec Nordiques were one of the solid franchises in the WHA and competed in two AVCO Cup finals in 1975 and 1977. They merged with the NHL in 1979 and continued until the team moved to Colorado in 1995 where they became the Colorado Avalanche.</p> <p>This month marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Quebec Nordiques.</p>
