Our family dynamic is unique because three of our children are adopted from Africa, and two of our children are biological. We adopted her from from Ghana in 2016 when she was 2 years old. She is very responsible, soft spoken, and always ready with a word of encouragement. She is currently 10 years old. 👩🏼Harriette: Our first biological child with a first born vivacious attitude! She was born in 2019 and has kept us on our toes ever since!😅 She was using the potty chair at 5 days old and using sign language by 8 months old. She is currently 5 years old. 👧🏾 Eden: Adopted from Nigeria in 2021. She was language deprived because of being profoundly deaf, and we were the first ones to introduce her to ASL (American Sign Language). 🤟🏾She has come so far in her communication and understanding of the world around her!
