Become a confident public speaker

<p>An estimated 5.3 million Americans suffer from a social phobia, with 74% suffering from speech anxiety.</p> <p>My guest today, Jackie Miao, was deathly afraid of public speaking just a few years ago! &nbsp;Her heart would race and she would feel dizzy every time she had to stand on stage to say a few words. &nbsp;Now she feels comfortable speaking to a room of three hundred people and can conduct trainings with ease.</p> <p>How did she do it?</p> <p>She joined a supportive, international community called Toastmasters.</p> <p>Because of Toastmasters, she:</p> <p>• &nbsp;became a more confident public speaker</p> <p>• &nbsp;overcame some of her challenges in life</p> <p>• &nbsp;developed her leadership skills</p> <p>• &nbsp;realized her hidden potentials</p> <p>And more…</p> <p>Jackie Miao is a content creator, web developer, digital marketer, intercultural educator, community builder, and social entrepreneur.</p> <p>Up until three years ago, Jackie had a daily live-streaming variety cooking show on Periscope under the moniker “Dining Happy.” Her cooking shows have been seen by over 2 million people.
