Bayelsa Guber: Those plotting my suspension failed, I will not leave APC – Former aspirant, Daumiebi

<p>A guber aspirant in the last primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bayelsa State, Festus Daumiebi, has described plots by some politicians in his party to suspend him for no reason as an exercise in futility, noting that he remains a member of the party.</p>, <p>DAILY POST, gathered that Daumiebi is being accused of secretly aligning with the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the November 11 gubernatorial election in the state.</p>, <p>But in a Press Statement sent to DAILY POST, on Saturday, the party chieftain said an intelligence report before him shows some members of his party, the APC in Abuja are orchestrating to induce his Southern Ijaw ward 12 executives to announce his illegal suspension from the party.</p>, <p>The party man noted that his initial thoughts were not to dignify them with a response but was moved to clear the air and set the record straight so unsuspecting members of the public could be aware.</p>, <p>The statement read in parts, “I, Bayelsa State Governorship Aspirant of the APC, 2023 and also the APC Senatorial Candidate for Bayelsa Central Senatorial District in the 2019 General Elections hereby make this press release.</p>, <p>”Intelligence report before me shows that some members of my party, the APC are in Abuja orchestrating to induce my Southern Ijaw ward 12 executives to announce my illegal suspension from the All Progressives Congress.</p>, <p>”The mischief makers and their co-conspirators after several failed fishing expeditions have resorted to concocting all sorts of fallacious, malicious, misleading and smear campaigns against me in order to find justification for their planned satanic suspension.</p>, <p>”My initial thought was not to dignify them with a response but on a second consideration, I am moved to make this statement on account of unsuspecting members of the public and to set the records straight.</p>, <p>”For the avoidance of doubt, I state categorically that the allegations which they are raising against me in certain quar
