Bandits attack police station in Taraba community

<p>The Taraba Police Command has confirmed that there was an attack on its station in Lau Local Government Council of the state in the early hours of Saturday.</p>, <p>Confirming the incident, the state command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Abdullahi Usman, said the attack occurred at around 2am.</p>, <p>He said the bandits stormed the community in their numbers in search of a particular person and decided to attack the station when they could not get their target.</p>, <p>Though no casualty was recorded, Usman said the bandits succeeded in disturbing the peace of the community.</p>, <p>Some of the community members who spoke with DAILY POST said the bandits, on arriving the community, shot sporadically in the air.</p>
