Balancing Parenthood and a Career in the Arts

Can you be a parent AND start a career as an independent artist? YES. Our artist today is German singer-songwriter, producer, and father, Robert Horace. In 2018, Robert left his full time job as a chef to pursue his dream of being a musician. He dove into the deep end of releasing his first EP ‘Take Off’ while learning all about branding, performing, writing and adapting to life as an artist. It was also at that time that Robert and his girlfriend decided to have a baby. In this episode Robert candidly shares with us the joys and challenges of balancing life as a parent and an independent musician, the importance of building an authentic brand, and we talk about how we cannot "fail" being artists. Robert is the first parent we have talked to on the podcast, and we are so excited to share his story.
