<p>Wade Davis and RFK Jr discuss The Amazon River Basin and Ayahuasca, a psychoactive brew used both socially and as spiritual medicine among the indigenous peoples of the region. &nbsp;Haiti and the Caribbean are also discussed in this episode.</p> <p>Wade Davis is an ethnobotanist. Davis came to prominence with his 1985 best-selling book <em>The Serpent and the Rainbow</em> about the zombies of Haiti.
