Attack on my property will not deter me from speaking truth – NNPP chieftain

<p>A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has insisted that attacks on his property by some political thugs will not deter him from speaking the truth.</p>, <p>Oguntoyinbo, who was the 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the NNPP in Ogun State, made the assertion on Thursday.</p>, <p>DAILY POST gathered that some hoodlums in the early hours of Tuesday invaded Bullion Hotel located in the Simawa Area of Ogun State.</p>, <p>It was learnt that items worth millions of naira were carted by the suspected political thugs at the hotel.</p>, <p>Oguntoyinbo, who doubles as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hotel in his reaction, said the attacks on his property will not deter him from telling the truth to the power that be.</p>, <p>Oguntoyinbo, in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Thursday called for an investigation into the persistent attacks on his hotel and his person.</p>, <p>He said there was a similar attack on September 5, 2023, when a group of thugs, some disguised as soldiers, stormed the hotel.</p>, <p>He maintained that CCTV footage shows how the men in Police uniforms were molesting, harassing and taking away valuables belonging to the hotel and the hotel security officers on duty.</p>, <p>The NNPP chieftain said the hoodlums identified themselves as boys of Alowonle of Shimawa who is the Chairman of Motorcycle (Okada) riders in the Shimawa area in Ogun State.</p>, <p>“They can never stop my action as the voice of the Nigerian youths and I will continue to work for the progress and welfare of the poor and the vulnerable youths in Nigeria.</p>, <p>“The Police officers that slapped the security guards while watching television should be penalized for such action.
