Along with overseeing the daily food service operation of restaurants, chefs also direct other cooks in the kitchen to create and prepare food...from school cafeterias to michelin star restaurants.  Food is a basic need...but there is an art to cooking and food preparation...so chef's hats off to those who create and prepare menus every day!</p>
