The origin of this tasty snack is credited to the entrepreneur Alec Barnum. However, the first recorded version of the recipe can be found in the 1927 publication of Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts....originally called "some mores". In 1956, the recipe was once again printed in a book called “The Omnibus Of Fun” but this time it had a new name: s’mores (a contraction of some mores). In 2014, campers at Deer Run Camping Resort in Gardners, Pennsylvania decided to build the largest s’more in the world...267-pounds. It was made with 140-pounds of marshmallows, 90-pounds of graham crackers, and 90-pounds of chocolate. And yes, it was inducted into the Guinness Book Of World Records.</p>
