As an actress, singer, and writer of Afro-Jamaican descent, Asha Bromfield is all about how we can experience the fullest expression of our creativity at the intersection of healing and self-exploration. Inspired by her own self-healing journey, Asha is focused on her mission to show that representation should include multifaceted Black characters along with nuanced storytelling, while also using creativity as a remedy for our own inner work.  Whew, this was a deep, fluid, and larger-than-life conversation about all of the facets of what it means to live life. What I love about this conversation is that we flow through the many aspects of her book that spoke to me, while also exploring her own interpretation of the words she wrote.
