Asbury "Revival" vs. BIBLICAL SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT!

As children of God, we must have biblical spiritual discernment so that we are not carried away by every wind of shifting doctrine, especially as we see what's going on at Asbury University in Kentucky, USA, about a "Revival" taking place that is being labeled as a "Move of God!" We need to discern if this is, in fact, a Holy Spirit-willed revival. Because, the Bible does not speak of a revival when the people are still in blatant willful sin (study 1 Chronicles 7:14)! But it does talk about dark perilous times ahead in 2 Timothy 3:1, "But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come." Not to mention, the great falling away/apostasy, the Great rebellion as recorded in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 happening right before Jesus returns! Many professing Christians are being deceived by man-driven "revivals" without exercising any spiritual discernment, AT ALL! How much more will they be deceived when the Antichrist shows up and they believe it is Jesus because of Satan's enacted signs and wonders?! Discernment is the ability to properly discriminate or make determinations. It is related to wisdom. As followers of Jesus, we know that God is the ultimate "fact checker!" God gave us the Bible to explain ultimate truth and righteousness. We need to spend time in it regularly and ask the Holy Spirit to give us the wisdom we need to navigate the vast array of voices in our day and know which are of God and which are of the devil! Proverbs 3:13 says, “Blessed is the one who has found wisdom, and the one who obtains understanding.” Let us all exercise the wisdom that God gives us through His Holy Spirit "So that we are no long
