Join the Art-Work Community Facebook Group! linktr.ee/art.work Although a dream for a long time, Art-Work is a podcast that has been born out of the Covid-19 crisis, with the intention of connecting independent artists, who may not be able to work in their usual capacity, with an audience who are ready to consume new music, design, photography, spoken word or human stories. So who are we? We (the hosts of Art-Work) are Brea Robertson and Poppy Rose and we’re both multi-facetted artists currently based in Berlin. In 2017, we met in the singer/songwriter scene of Berlin and have spent the last two and a half years touring around Europe together playing our music in people’s living rooms, gardens and terraces. Brea is also a theatre worker and often works on projects that use theatre to help with education or rehabilitation, and Poppy has an online business selling homemade jewellery and visual art. After years of being on the road, we wanted to create a project that we could do a little closer to home, and we wanted to create a platform to shine a light on some incredible independent creative people, and thus the Art-Work Podcast was born!
