Are we living in a Godless nation and have foolish elected leaders?

<p>Are we living in a Godless nation and have foolish elected leaders?   Please do not get me wrong I know there are many people the trust in God and believe in Jesus trying to live for Christ yes, this includes some of our leaders.   I love America I served my country, But God and Jesus I love more in will obey the word of God first.  Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.  Micah 7:5 Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms;</p> <p>Jeremiah 17:5 Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.</p> <p>Psalm 118:9 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.</p> <p>Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.</p> <p> </p> <p>However, I think that many people are suffering from emotional abuse from our elected leaders. The Bible does not use the words emotional abuse, but there are plenty of characteristics of emotional abuse addressed in Scripture. </p> <p>Emotional abuse can take many forms, including verbal assaults, threats, and insults, such as has been coming from many elected leaders. </p> <p>And non-verbal rejection, neglect, and isolation; these behaviors are recurring and have become a pattern of emotional abuse. We can only pray for the elected leaders who choose to abuse their position due to their foolishness.</p> <p>I am basing the above title question on what is going on. Within our nation, our elected leaders support abortion, homosexuality, crt, cancel culture, day light mugging, and so much more, force their issues on the American population. </p> <p>Politicians are boasting about the misuse of their position.
